This Thursday morning Cheryl has a chemo appointment. This is the first appointment with the new med, so she isn't sure what to expect. The side effects aren't supposed to be as bad, but everyone and every body is different. She's also noticed that her recovery time stretches longer after each treatment. Will that be the same or different with the new med?
Here are a few specifics to pray for:
- That she continues to tolerate chemo as well as she has been. That her blood counts remain stable.
- Her throat is STILL scratchy from having the flu a month ago!
- The 3 or so days after chemo are really tough - physically and emotionally. This is a big one.
