Everyone,
Just a remind about the CARD SHOWER for Cheryl! If you don't have her home address, you can mail them to me, and I will deliver them. Our address is PO Box 125, Sugarcreek, OH 44681
As Cheryl's chemo date nears, I just wanted to encourage you all to be in prayer. There are so many unknowns. Everyone responds so differently to chemo meds, there are so many crazy side effects and many emotional factors, as you can imagine.
Lisa, a friend, sent this prayer before Cheryl's surgery, which some of you have already read. I just wanted to post it, as it is my prayer for Cheryl during all of this. Let's agree in prayer again!
Cindy
Father in heaven, we come to You tonight in the name of Jesus Christ, our Forgiver, Leader, Healer, Deliverer, and Friend forever. We ask Your blessing on our dear friend and sister in Christ, Cheryl Ann. We know that You hold her in Your might hands and we collectively trust in Your perfect plan for her life. We ask that You heal and restore her to health and strength as she recovers from surgery. May the surgeon’s hands be guided by you and may she make a complete recovery. We pray that the side effects from treatment would be minor, or even nonexistent, and that You would strengthen her as she walks through the coming days. Please allow us to hear Your voice as you continue to prompt us to pray and care for Cheryl. We give You thanks for allowing us to know and love Cheryl. We know that You love her more than any of us is capable of, and we claim Your faithfulness and mercy on her behalf. May all the glory and honor in this situation be unto You. She is indeed Your precious workmanship.
Thank you for the way you have gifted her......her maturity, her intelligence, her beautiful voice that has encouraged so many as she sings Your praises, the warmth of her smile, the ringing of her laugh, the comfort of her hugs and the depth of her heart and love for her Lord. We worship You and come with hearts of thanksgiving for giving us this precious woman. We love and adore You. Abba Father, we humbly ask that You would hear and answer our prayer according to Your perfect will. In Jesus’ name we pray...and all Cheryl’s friends said, “Amen”.

AMEN! What a beautiful prayer. There is nothing more for me to add. I just wanted to check in on the eve of your chemo treatment to tell you you're on my heart and I am praying.
Hey Cheryl,
Just thinking of you today as you go through your first chemo treatment. I pray that you are feeling well with little or no side effects. We are praying for you and looking forward to seeing you in the office again.
Take care and God bless,
Jeana
